Jaqueline Wong serves as Honorary Advisor, Dementia Brunei and is a Board Member of Common Age (an accredited association of the Commonwealth on ageing).
She has been an active contributor of the Environmental Design - Special Interest Group, Dementia Alliance International, and International Tutor, International Institute on Ageing United Nations-Malta. In these roles she has worked to influence policies, programmes and initiatives on healthy ageing, dementia, gender equality and youth in the Asia Pacific and across the Commonwealth.
A former carer for two loved ones with dementia, the experience continues to inspire her efforts and contributions. She advocates for inclusive communities, sustainable intergenerational initiatives and youth engagement programmes that improve the quality of life for older people, people with dementia, carers and youth.
