We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of our Annual General Meeting in late June. Your presence and participation were invaluable, and we are grateful for your continued support and engagement.
A special thank you goes to Alister Robertson and Patricia Bowen, our former chair and treasurer respectively, who are retiring from the board. Their dedication and contributions have been instrumental in shaping DAI, and we are deeply appreciative of their commitment and service.
We also extend our thanks to Fraser Tull, one of our members, who attended as a speaker to discuss his experience sharing his story through YouTube. For those who are interested, Fraser’s inspiring channel can be found here.
We are excited to welcome the incoming board and look forward to the leadership and direction they will bring to DAI. Congratulations to John Sandblom who is taking over from Alister to co-chair with Janine; and John Grosvenor who is stepping up as treasurer.
A special welcome to our new board members, Loraine Wyatt and Deborah Lloyd. We are thrilled to have you join the team and look forward to the fresh perspectives and ideas you will bring.
The full board can be viewed on our website.
Thank you once again to everyone who made this AGM a memorable and successful event. Together, we will continue to advance our mission advocating for the voice, rights and needs of people with dementia.
